Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silo wherein existing equipment can be efficiently utilized and a running cost is low and wherein a preserved material can be effectively prevented from being altered, rotted or the like. SOLUTION: The silo includes a silo body 2 for preserving the material A to be preserved comprising grain, its processed good or the like, and a ventilation means 10 for ventilating the inside of an unfilled space 3 on an upper portion of the silo body 2 where the material A is not filled, wherein the means 10 has an intake duct 11 for introducing an atmosphere into the unfilled space 3, an exhaust duct 12 for exhausting air in the space 3 to the outside a blower 13 for forming a flow of air.
