Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct diagonal carriage of a document at the time of reversing front surface and rear surface by once discharging the document to a copy placing part at a turning-around carrier part and switching it back.
SOLUTION: A turning-around carrier part 42 to reverse front surface and rear surface of a document P against a document reading part 6 by switch back is provided on an upper part of a U shaped carrier part 41. Switching-back is carried out by carrying the document P in the opposite direction after it is discharged to a document placing part 2 once at the turning-around carrier part 42. A pair of document guides 202 to carry out width arrangement of the document P is provided on the document placing part 2. A tapered part 202a to guide the document P once discharged to an upper end part in the height direction of the document guide 202 to the inside of the document guide 202 is formed. Diagonal carriage is corrected by certainly guiding the document P once discharged by the tapered part 202a to the inside of the document guide part 202 and guiding the document P after switch back by this document guide 202.
