Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed controller capable of reducing a gearshift shock due to the upthrusting of torque when a friction gearing transmission has a power transmission capacity corresponding to the maximum torque even on the low loading.SOLUTION: When an eccentric shaft rotation angle θ is increased from the gearshift-starting time t1 in the first to second gearshift direction, an inter-roller pressing contact force Fc of a first gearshift roller pair is decreased, at the same time, an inter-roller pressing contact force Fc of a second gearshift roller pair is increased, thereby, a transmission torque T1 of the first gearshift roller pair is decreased, at the same time, a transfer torque T2 of the second gearshift roller pair is increased and the torque sharing ratio of the first gearshift roller pair and the second gearshift roller pair is reversed to generate a torque phase. During inertia phase (t2 to t3), the eccentric shaft is returned and rotated in the direction reverse with respect to the first to second gearshift direction as shown by the rotation angle θ. After the inertia phase ending time t3, the eccentric shaft is rotated in the first to second gearshift direction as shown by the rotation angle θ to complete first to second gearshift.
