Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at low cost, a base material having a spray coating film with excellent corrosion resistance by forming a diffusion layer exhibiting sufficient joint strength through atomic diffusion between the spray coating film and base material and making adhesion excellent, and also densifying the spray coating film, and a method of manufacturing the same at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a base material has a spray coating film. The spray coating film has a densified part of 2% or less in porosity, and also has, between the densified part and base material, a diffusion layer formed by mutual diffusion of metal included in the spray coating film and metal included in the base material. Further, there is provided a method of manufacturing the base material having the spray coating film. The method includes: a spray coating film forming process of forming the spray coating film having the densified part of 3% or less in porosity on the base material; and a diffusion layer forming process of forming the diffusion layer on the base material after the spray coating film formation by performing an HIP treatment by a capsule-free method and forming the diffusion layer by the mutual diffusion of the spray-coated metal and the metal included in the base material, the porosity of the densified part after the HIP treatment being 2% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
