Abstract:
To enable a stable switching operation while turning on is not conducted at an incorrect timing that is not a timing at which turning on should be conducted.SOLUTION: A switching power supply device 10 includes an on/off control unit 11 that controls an on/off timing of a switching transistor MN. The on/off control unit 11 includes a first capacitor CTOFF that is charged when the switching transistor MN is off, and that is discharged when the switching transistor MN is on, a resistor R1 that is inserted in a route for outputting a charge voltage for the first capacitor CTOFF, an error amplifier AMP that has an output end connected to the route via the resistor R1 and that outputs a current according to the difference between an output voltage VOUT and a reference voltage VREF1, and a comparator COMP1 that has a first input end connected between the resistor R1 and the error amplifier AMP, and has a second input end to which an on-timing threshold voltage Von1 for determining an on timing is inputted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
