Abstract:
To easily perform cutting of both of a carrier tape and a cover tape, and cutting of only the carrier tape.SOLUTION: A tape cutter includes a tape presser member 24 that is equipped with a tape presser surface 24b contacting with a cover tape 104, a first blade 30 that is equipped with a blade edge 30a and cuts both of a carrier tape 102 and a cover tape 104, a second blade 32 that is equipped with a blade edge 32a and cuts the carrier tape 102, and a blade supporting member 22 that supports the first blade 30 and the second blade 32 and moves toward the tape presser surface 24b. While the blade supporting member 22 is the closest to the tape presser member 24, the blade edge 30a of the first blade 30 is located in a recessed portion 24 formed on the tape presser surface 24b, and the blade edge 32a of the second blade 32 opposes to the tape presser surface 24b at a distance substantially equal to a thickness of the cover tape 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15B
