Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive and small temperature sensor 1.SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 1 includes: a light source 10 that outputs test light; a sensor light fiber 20 that receives the test light and transmits the test light at any temperature in a range of a temperature of 20°C to 150°C at a loss of 0.3 dB/m or more; a light receiver 30 that receives the test light transmitted by the sensor light fiber 20; and a processing device 40 that detects a temperature of the sensor light fiber 20 on the basis of intensity of the test light received by the light receiver 30. The sensor light fiber 20 includes a core 21, and a clad 22 formed in a circumference of the core 21, wherein a refractive index difference between the core 21 and the clad 22 is increased when the temperature of the sensor light fiber 20 rises.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
