Abstract:
To provide a thermal print head capable of avoiding a deterioration in quality of a plurality of pieces of wiring formed by gravure offset printing.SOLUTION: A thermal print head comprises a substrate 10 that has a principal plane 10A directed in a z-direction, a plurality of pieces of wiring 30 arranged on the principal plane 10, and a resistor that is arrayed in an x-direction and that includes a plurality of heating parts conducted into the plurality of pieces of wiring 30. At least any one of the plurality of pieces of wiring 30 has a plurality of edges 301 that cross the x-direction, and a plurality of void parts 302 that penetrate in the z-direction. Each of the plurality of void parts 302 is positioned between the two adjacent edges 301A and 301B of the plurality of edges 301.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
