Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming medium including a thermal transfer ribbon having a thermal transferable overcoat layer and a body to be transferred which improves transferability of a thermal transferable overcoat layer and improves resistance of the obtained printed medium.SOLUTION: A polyol thermoplastic resin and block isocyanate are contained in the outermost layer of a thermal transferable overcoat layer, and the polyol thermoplastic resin has an acid value of 0.1 mgKOH/g or more and an average molecular weight of 100000 or less. An ink-receiving layer provided on the body to be transferred contains a thermoplastic resin having a hydroxyl group as a functional group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
