Abstract:
To provide an underground purification wall that can be used continuously for a long time with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An underground purification wall includes a purification device including an impermeable wall that is installed so that it intersects in a direction of a flow of groundwater and a lower end is embedded in an impermeable layer, a side wall that is installed near a wall surface on an upstream side of a groundwater flow direction in the impermeable wall and forms a hollow portion, and a bottom where a groundwater inflow portion is provided, in which the bottom is penetrated deeper than the groundwater and the lower end of a groundwater outflow portion provided on the side wall is located deeper than the groundwater level; and a groundwater permeation portion that is provided in the same plane as the impermeable wall and whose lower end is deeper than the groundwater level and is located above the bottom of the purification device, in which the purification device is provided with an adsorbent storage portion in which a pollutant adsorbent is stored in the hollow portion, and the groundwater outflow portion is communicated with the groundwater permeation portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
