Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an up-down counter for a position detector that can detect failure while a movable shaft is stopping.SOLUTION: An up-down counter for a position detector includes: an up counter 14 for outputting an up-count value CT obtained by adding a value counting up at a frequency F to an up-down count value that increases or decreases according to a change in a two-phase sensor signal; and a signal processing unit for outputting the up-count value by subtracting a value F×t obtained by multiplying the frequency F by a total count time t from the up-counter value CT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
