To provide a vacuum cleaner with less vibration and noise.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a fan motor 40 having an intake hole 40b1 with a shape projecting forward, a casing 40b with a tapered part in which the rear part of the intake hole 40b1 expands in a tapered shape, and an impeller 40c disposed in the casing 40b; a motor 40a for driving the fan motor 40; and a first elastic member 60 mounted on the outer periphery of the intake hole 40b1 and the tapered part having a plurality of protrusions along the shape of the tapered part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
