Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp prevention structure of a valve body which prevents the clamping of a body portion by a tool at piping work or the like, and can secure the valve-seating performance and external seal performance of a valve after the piping work, and the valve having the prevention structure.SOLUTION: When clamping an external peripheral face 9 of a body 2 by a clamp tool 18, protrusions 16 for bringing clamping into an instable state are formed on front and back surfaces of the external peripheral face 9 of the body 2, and a valve main body 1 is rotated and brought into the instable state when clamping the body 2 by arranging the protrusions 16 so as to be displaceable to left and right sides and/or up-and-down sides with respect to each other. When connecting pieces of piping by screwing them into a valve, a body 2 portion is prevented from being clamped by the clamp tool 18 by making a worker recognize that a position in which the protrusions are formed is not a clamp tool hanging part, and it can be prevented that a seal face is deformed due to the application of an external force to the body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
