Abstract:
To provide a blade drive device that is advantageous for high-speed driving, and an imaging device.SOLUTION: A blade driving device for adjusting a size of an opening through which light passes by rotating a plurality of diaphragm blades, includes: a first opening forming member 107 in which a fixed opening through which light passes is formed; a plurality of diaphragm blades entering into and out of a passage of light; a drive ring 103 for engaging with the diaphragm blade to rotate the diaphragm blade; and a partition member 105 provided between the diaphragm blade and the drive ring in an optical axis direction and arranged on an outer side in a radial direction of the fixed opening with respect to an engagement section of the diaphragm blade and the drive ring. Movement of the drive ring in the radial direction is restricted by sliding contact of the engagement section with the edge of the fixed opening or the partition member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
