Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control system capable of improving fuel economy of a vehicle by increasing a situation where fuel cut control is extended.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control system 10, an engine ECU 30 starts fuel cut control when a deceleration request is made, and an air conditioning ECU 70 operates a compressor 61 to store cold while the engine ECU 30 is executing the fuel cut control, and stops the compressor 61 if a temperature of an evaporator 64 is a compressor stop permission temperature or lower when the fuel cut control is finished. When the fuel cut control is finished, if the compressor 61 is in the stopped state, the engine ECU 30 extends the fuel cut control. The air conditioning ECU 70 includes an air quantity reduction section 76 for promptly lowering the temperature of the evaporator 64 by reducing air quantity of a blower 52 to be sent into a cabin 6 when an estimated air conditioning load is low during the cold storage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
