Abstract:
To ensure both quietness and excellent fuel economy performance in a vehicle mounted with a compression ignition engine.SOLUTION: A fuel injection control section 73 causes an injector 15 to execute first stage injections P1 and P2 in which fuel is injected at least during a compression stroke and main injections M1 and M2 in which a fuel injection is started at or around a compression top dead center and completed during an expansion stroke. Specifically, without changing a total fuel injection amount per cycle, the fuel injection control section 73 executes: a high-speed injection pattern in which a fuel injection amount of the first stage injection P2 is set to be larger than the fuel injection amount of the main injection M2 when a vehicle speed detection section 71 detects a vehicle speed equal to or faster then a predetermined vehicle speed; and a low-speed injection pattern in which the fuel injection amount of the first stage injection P1 is set to be lower than the fuel injection amount of the main injection M1 when the vehicle speed detection section 71 detects the vehicle speed slower than the predetermined vehicle speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
