To provide a vehicular lighting system capable of improving visibility.SOLUTION: A vehicular lighting system 2 comprises: a lamp unit 41 that is mounted in a vehicle 1 and that emits light for illuminating the periphery of the vehicle 1; a detection part 6 that detects a difference between a light source color of a first street lamp of a plurality of street lamps and a light source color of a second street lamp adjacent to the first street lamp, by recognizing light source colors of the plurality of street lamps installed on the periphery of the vehicle 1; and a control part 42 that changes the quantity of the light emitted from the lamp unit 41 depending on the difference between the light source colors of the street lamps.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
