Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage converter and voltage conversion method, capable of suppressing fluctuations in an output voltage, thus achieving a stable constant voltage for output, even immediately after changing over a switching frequency.SOLUTION: When changing over a switching frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency for increase/decrease, a waveform of PWM signal is changed. Such a change suppresses lowering/rising of an average of an inductance current after changing over the switching frequency, thereby suppressing fluctuations in an output voltage after changing over the switching frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
