Abstract:
To provide a waveguide slot antenna capable of achieving both of a miniaturization and a radiation characteristic on the basis of an arrangement of a slot.SOLUTION: A waveguide slot antenna comprises: a waveguide structured by a dielectric substrate (10) and a metal member (11, 12, and 13) surrounding them; and one or a plurality of slots (14) arranged along a first direction (X) of the waveguide, and defined by an inner edge of the metal member. The metal member contains a first short circuit wall part (W3) which becomes one short circuit surface orthogonal to a first direction of the waveguide, and one or the plurality of slots includes a first slot (14a) defined by the inner edge contacted to the short circuit wall part. The first slot has a prescribed slot length (L) smaller than approximately 0.5 times of a guide wave length of the waveguide along the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
