Abstract:
To provide a woody material with a veneer spirally or concentrically laminated, which has shaft strength, shear strength, and bending strength more than a wood, and a manufacturing method for the woody material.SOLUTION: A woody material 1 is a woody material in which a veneer 2 is spirally or concentrically laminated, and comprises a reinforcement plate 3 between layers of the veneer 2. Further a manufacturing method for the woody material comprises: a process for manufacturing a veneer with reinforcement plate, in which a veneer 4 with reinforcement plate, in which a reinforcement plate 3 is placed on at least one surface of a veneer 2, or the like is manufactured; and a woody material formation process in which the veneer 4 with reinforcement plate is spirally wound on a core material 5, or the veneer with reinforcement plate is concentrically wound on the core material to form a woody material having a prescribed cross-sectional shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
