Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized, thin transformer element in which high voltage, high power, high reliability are simultaneously satisfied by disposing two drivers in which a piezoelectric porcelain layer polarized in a thickness direction and an internal electrode are alternately laminated on both ends, and disposing a generator element polarized in a length direction at a center containing a center of a length direction of a piezoelectric porcelain transformer.
CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric porcelain layer 111 polarized in a thickness direction is disposed while sandwiching an internal electrode 112 in which polarizing directions are set in a zigzag manner in a driver, and the electrodes are connected to external electrodes 113, 114 (115, 116) on a surface at every other one. On the other hand, a piezoelectric porcelain 121 of a generator element is polarized in a length direction, and relatively thin internal electrodes 122 and surface external electrodes 124 are disposed at both sides, and further internal electrodes 123 and external electrodes 125 are disposed at a center in a length direction. Thus, a piezoelectric porcelain transformer having characteristics of high voltage, high power, high reliability, a small size and a reduced thickness is obtained.
