Abstract:
It is possible to provide a 3D image display system capable of providing a 3D image which can be easily viewed by an observer. In order to achieve this object, in a 3D image display system (1), an image generation device (2) outputs data representing objects belonging to different distance ranges from the position of the observer. According to the respective input data, a display device (3) emits a plurality of lights representing the object images belonging to different distance ranges. An optical path selection circuit (4) successively selects the plurality of lights emitted from the display device (3) at each predetermined time by at least one built-in DMD (Digital Micro-mirror Device) (12) and successively outputs the light selected. A reflection member (6) reflects the light outputted by the optical path selection circuit (4) toward the observer so as to provide a 3D image in which objects are synthesized.
