Abstract:
A 5G communication relay device (CPE) according to the present invention comprises an array antenna, a transceiver circuit, and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to control the transceiver circuit so as to direct a beam of the array antenna on the basis of a horizontal tilt value and a vertical tilt value related to a beam direction of the array antenna. Meanwhile, the control unit calculates the horizontal tilt value by using, in the array antenna, the position of an antenna element in the left area and the position of an antenna element in the right area, and calculates the vertical tilt value by using, in the array antenna, the position of an antenna element in an upper area and the position of an antenna element in a lower area so that the beam can quickly be directed in a direction toward a base station on the basis of the horizontal tilt value and the vertical tilt value related to the beam direction of the array antenna of the 5G CPE.
