Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an abnormality-detecting device and method for a tool of a machine tool with which improvement of diagnostic precision is possible. For said purpose, an abnormality-detecting device (30A) for detecting abnormalities of a tool of a machine tool (10) comprises: an acquiring unit (40A) for acquiring multiple measured values relating to the tool as measurement data (vibration information (41), cutting force information (42), sound information (43), main shaft load (44), motor current (45), power value (46)); a normal model unit (31) for learning the measurement data acquired during normal machining by one class machine learning and creating a normal model; an abnormality-diagnosing unit (32) for acquiring measurement data during machining after creation of the normal model while diagnosing whether said measurement data is normal or abnormal on the basis of the normal model; and a re-diagnosing unit (34) for re-diagnosing measurement data, which has been diagnosed to be abnormal by the abnormality-diagnosing unit (32), by a method different from the abnormality-diagnosing unit (32).
