Abstract:
Provided is an absorbent article that: provides a sensation that the absorbent article tracks the skin; and is capable of improving comfort of wear. The average surface friction coefficient (MIU) under a load of 50 gf/cm2 in a skin contact surface of a fluid-permeable area (RA) of the absorbent article is greater than 0.15. The fluctuation (MMD) in the average surface friction coefficient under a load of 50 gf/cm2 in a skin contact surface of the fluid-permeable area (RA) is less than 0.007. The compression hardness (LC) of the absorbent article under a load of 50 gf/cm2 is greater than 0.4, as measured from the skin contact surface of the fluid-permeable area (RA) towards the non-skin-contact surface. The compression energy (WC) of the absorbent article under a load of 50 gf/cm2 is less than 5.5 g·cm/cm2, as measured from the skin contact surface of the fluid-permeable area (RA) towards the non-skin-contact surface.
