Abstract:
[Problem] To suppress rear leakage during a second and subsequent excretion. [Solution] The problem is solved by an absorbent article including an absorbent sheet 50 between a top sheet 22 and an uppermost surface of an absorber 23 and having a groove 23D that is provided in the uppermost surface of the absorber 23 and extends in a front-rear direction LD across a crotch section C2 and a rear section B2, wherein: the absorbent sheet 50 has: an upper sheet 51 and a lower sheet 52 having liquid permeability, an accommodation part 55 in which highly-absorbent polymer particles 53 are accommodated between the upper sheet 51 and the lower sheet 52, and a joining part 54 disposed so as to surround the accommodation part 55; at least one accommodation part 55 has a narrower width than the width of the groove 23D, and at least 80% of the width overlaps with the groove 23D; and when the groove 23D is evenly trisected in the depth direction into an upper portion, an intermediate portion, and a lower portion in an unabsorbed deployed state, the absorbent sheet 50 is positioned at least on the upper portion of the groove 23D.
