Abstract:
An absorbent sheet (40) for animals to be used in an animal toilet (1), said absorbent sheet comprising a front surface sheet (41), a rear surface sheet (42) and an absorbent body (50), wherein: the absorbent body (50) comprises a first absorbent layer (51) having a highly absorbent polymer and a second absorbent layer (52) that is located on one side in the thickness direction from the first absorbent layer (51) and contains a highly absorbent polymer in liquid absorbent fibers; the first absorbent layer (51) contains an antimicrobial agent (60); and the density of the antimicrobial agent (60) is higher at one side of the first absorbent layer (51) in the thickness direction than at the other side of the first absorbent layer (51) in the thickness direction.
