Abstract:
In case terminals needing different pieces of IP configuration information under a common link control coexist, a router advertisement has to be sent to the individual terminals. Provided is a router advertisement sending system comprising means for sending the router advertisement to a requested node multi-cast address, and assigning means for an IP address according to the requested node multi-cast address. The terminals needing the common IP configuration information are grouped to have the same requested node multi-cast address so that the router advertisement can be made for each group.
