Abstract:
An imaging device 200 and an accessory device 100 have, provided therebetween, a notification channel used to issue notification to the accessory device from the imaging device, a first data communication channel used to transmit accessory data from the accessory device to the imaging device, and a second data communication channel used to transmit camera data from the imaging device to the accessory device. An accessory control unit 111 transmits data via the first data communication channel in response to receiving a transmission request signal via the notification channel, and selectively adds, to the data, a communication standby request requesting that the transmission request signal not be transmitted from the imaging device to the accessory device.
