Abstract:
An imaging device 200 and an accessory device 100 have, provided therebetween, a notification channel used to issue notification to the accessory device from the imaging device, a first data communication channel used to transmit accessory data from the accessory device to the imaging device, and a second data communication channel used to transmit camera data from the imaging device to the accessory device. An accessory control unit 111 switches the communication mode while the imaging device is being notified via the notification channel of a communication standby request requesting that data communication from the imaging device to the accessory device not be performed.
