Abstract:
This communication system comprises: a case capable of supplying power; and an accessory connectable to the case via a charge line for transmitting and receiving a charge signal and a GND line which is set to a reference voltage. The accessory is provided with a required operation determination circuit for determining one operation required from the accessory in accordance with the voltage level of the charge signal and the continuation time of that voltage level. Further, the communication system is provided with the case, the accessory, and a power management IC which is provided to the accessory and connected to the case via the charge line and the GND line. The power management IC is provided with a required operation determination circuit for determining one operation required from the accessory in accordance with the voltage level of the charge signal and the continuation time of that voltage level.
