Abstract:
An accident notification method of a vehicle, according to a disclosed embodiment, comprises: a step in which an electronic control unit performs an accident-related operation on the basis of sensor data collected by at least one sensor and generates a DX message on the basis of the sensor data; a step in which the electronic control unit transmits the DX message to an intelligent transport system (ITS) module; a step in which the ITS module outputs, to a driver, a user interface inducing selection on an accident processing service including an accident type and accident-related data, on the basis of the DX message; a step in which the ITS module determines a service center on the basis of the accident processing service and location information of the vehicle; a step in which the ITS module generates a first service request signal including the DX message, the accident type, the accident-related data, and the location information of the vehicle, for the determined service center; a step in which the ITS module transmits the first service request signal to the determined service center; and a step in which, when a reception signal is received from the determined service center, the ITS module generates a second service request signal requesting monitoring information of a vehicle dispatched by the service center.
