Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an ACM switching method, an ACM switching device and a transmitter for improving the data transmission rate in superposition coding. The method in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: when the trigger condition of the ACM switching is met, the ACM switching device obtains, according to the transmission performance of the current system, the number of tiers (M) of the data stream to be transmitted and the modulation mode to be switched, the number of tiers (M) being less than or equal to the number of services in the data stream to be transmitted; then the service data in the data stream to be transmitted is mapped to the tiers, the number of the tiers being equal to M; calculating the normalized power of each of the tiers, so as to enable the transmitter to perform superposition coding on and transmit the data stream to be transmitted according to number of tiers (M), the modulation mode to be switched, the mapped service data of each tier, and the normalized power of each tier. The embodiments of the present invention therefore provide an ACM switching method which enables the encoded information of the data stream to be transmitted to adapt to the current transmission performance of the system, thereby improving the data transmission rate of the superposition coding.
