Abstract:
Provided are an acoustic wave processing device, a method for processing signals, and a program, such that in a device which carries out multi-line processing, the volume of data stored can be decreased and calculation time for cinema reproduction can be shortened, so that an ultrasonic image of different image quality from an real-time image can be obtained. The acoustic wave processing device has: a phasing addition unit for subjecting each piece of first element data to phasing addition using a different element as reference to generate a plurality of pieces of first reception data; a reception data memory unit for storing the first reception data; a reception data-generating unit for superimposing the two or more pieces of first reception data to generate second reception data; and a processing condition-setting unit for setting the number of pieces of first reception data superimposed. During a cinema reproduction mode, the reception data-generating unit superimposes the specified number of pieces of first reception data to generate the second reception data.
