Abstract:
An acrylic ester copolymer emulsion for a high-adhesion heavy-duty anticorrosion coating consists of the following raw materials in parts by proportion: 55 to 60 parts of butyl acrylate, 80 to 90 parts of styrene, 25 to 30 parts of methyl methacrylate, 15 to 20 parts of methyl acrylate, 1 to 2 parts of acrylic acid, 0.5 to 1 part of initiator, 4 to 6 parts of emulsifier, 200 to 250 parts of deionized water, 0.0001 to 0.0002 part of pH regulator, and 5 to 10 parts of film coalescing aid. The method for preparing the emulsion comprises: mixing deionized water and part of emulsifier in a reaction vessel; then separately preparing an initiator solution and a pre-emulsification solution; and finally, dropwise adding the initiator solution and the pre-emulsification solution into the reaction vessel, and increasing a temperature. The emulsion prepared by means of a semi-continuously dropwise adding mode has good water resistance, salt spray resistance and saline water resistance, is suitable for preparing a water-based heavy-duty anticorrosion coating and has a good anticorrosion effect.
