Abstract:
Provided is an active material supply device by which it is possible to easily supply an active material to a desired location in a conveyance direction on a conveyed current collector. An active material supply device 700 supplies a powderized active material 32c onto a current collector 31B which is conveyed, in a conveyance direction D, inside a chamber having an interior depressurized as compared to atmospheric pressure. The active material supply device comprises: a hopper 770 that is provided inside the chamber, and that accommodates therein the active material 32c; and shutters 741, 742 that are provided to the hopper 770, and that open or close an opening 731 for supplying the active material 32c towards the current collector 31B.
