Abstract:
Provided is a technique capable of mitigating the brightness irregularity of a pixel. This active matrix substrate 20a comprises a plurality of driving circuits 11 which are provided, respectively corresponding to gate lines 13, in a display region, and which switch one of the corresponding gate lines 13 into a selected or non-selected state according to a supplied control signal. The driving circuits 11 are connected in the display region to control wires 16 that supply driving signals. The driving signals comprise N-phase signals (where, N is an integer of 8 or more) which have different phases and in which a first electric potential and a second electric potential lower than the first electric potential are repeated at constant intervals. Some control wires (16) among the plurality of control wires have a wiring portion that is approximately parallel to the gate lines. Some gate lines 13 among the plurality of gate lines 13 are switched into a non-selected state during a period in which an electric potential of the driving signal supplied to the wiring portion changes into the second electric potential. The wiring portion is disposed in a pixel spaced at least N/4 lines from a pixel in which a pixel electrode connected to some gate lines 13 is provided.
