Abstract:
The invention refers to an active principle composition dispersed in oil and to the preparation process thereof, including a first mixing step of an active principle with an oil and a second mixing step, decreasing the size of the particles of the active principles and to an alternative embodiment of the process, comprising an additional mixing step for decreasing the size of the particles of the active principles and a subsequent diluting step with an oil. The composition is used in the preparation of cosmetics, foods, pharmaceutical compositions or medicines. The invention disperses the active principle, without requiring additives, providing improved bioavailability and efficacy of the active principle and decrease of its inactive metabolites. For example, the treatment with resveratrol dispersed in olive oil (+RSVO Y) of the invention produced 26% of metabolites of the resveratrol, whereas 88% of the trans-resveratrol (+RSV) from the state of the art was biotransformed into metabolites.
