Abstract:
Disclosed is an actuator for a parking brake according to the present invention. According to an aspect of the present invention, provided may be an actuator for a parking brake, the actuator comprising: a motor for generating power; a reduction gear part for transmitting the power of the motor to a parking part for implementing a parking brake of a vehicle; a housing in which the motor and gears are accommodated; a housing cover for closing the housing; and a locking part for restricting the rotation of the reduction gear part, wherein the locking part includes: a locking member provided to be movable in an axial direction of the reduction gear part to be close to or spaced apart from the reduction gear part; an elastic member for elastically supporting the locking member toward the reduction deceleration gear part; and an electromagnet member for generating an electromagnetic force when power is applied to space the locking member from the reduction gear part.
