Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an actuator capable of achieving a reduced weight compared with conventional actuators while mitigating impact upon actuation, a safety device for ejecting an ejection object, and a flying body equipped with the safety device. [Solution] A safety device 100 comprises: an actuator 1; a pushup member 15 which is pushed up in one direction by the actuator 1; an ejection object 16 which is pushed up by the pushup member 15 while being supported by the pushup member 15; a cylindrical bottomed container 18; and a lid portion 21 which closes an opening end portion of the container 18. The actuator 1 includes a piston member 10, a cylinder 14 which accommodates the piston member 10 and is provided with a hole portion 13 that allows the piston member 10 to protrude outward upon actuation, a base 2 to which one end portion of the cylinder 14 is fixed through crimping and which is mounted at the center of the bottom portion inside the container 18, and a gas generator 17 which serves as a power source for moving the piston member 10 in the cylinder 14.
