Title:
ADSORBENT MATERIAL AND XENON ADSORPTION DEVICE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/030513
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an adsorbent material which is mainly composed of zeolite having a pore diameter of 4.5-7.3 Å (inclusive) and is capable of adsorbing xenon at room temperature and at atmospheric pressure or at room temperature and at low xenon partial pressure. Also disclosed is a xenon adsorption device which comprises an adsorbent material, a container that houses the adsorbent material and is formed from a material through which gases do not easily permeate, and a connection part for joining the container with a xenon sealed space. In the xenon adsorption device, the adsorbent material and the xenon sealed space communicate with each other. Consequently, the adsorbent material directly recover xenon highly efficiently from a used device in which xenon is sealed at room temperature and at atmospheric pressure or at room temperature and at low xenon partial pressure. The xenon adsorption device uses the adsorbent material.
