Abstract:
Disclosed is an adsorption molded body that, in an adsorption and recovering treatment apparatus of an electrical heating type, is capable of eliminating the need to increase the size of the adsorption and recovery treatment apparatus, preventing a lowering in adsorption amount per unit volume, and eliminating the need to use a special electrode having low contact resistance, and in an adsorption and recovery treatment apparatus of an electromagnetic wave heating type, does not cause local heating or spark discharge. The adsorption molded body to be subjected to electrical heating or electromagnetic wave heating comprises an electrically conductive powdery adsorbent, an insulating powdery adsorbent, and an inorganic binder. The inorganic binder binds the powdery adsorbents, that is, the two types of powdery adsorbents, to each other. The adsorption molded body is obtained by mixing the insulating powdery adsorbent together with the inorganic binder into the electrically conductive powdery adsorbent, then molding the mixture, drying the molded product, and optionally firing the dried molded product.
