Abstract:
An adsorption refrigeration system (2) comprising: a plurality of adsorption units (5A, 5B) which are filled with an adsorbent (S) capable of adsorption/desorption of a refrigerant (M1) in accordance with the temperature; and a control device (9) which controls the adsorption/desorption of the refrigerant (M1) performed by each of the adsorption units (5A, 5B), by switching the heat exchange medium supplied to each of the adsorption units (5A, 5B) between a heat exchange medium (M3) circulating through a circulation path (7) and a heat exchange medium (M2) circulating through a circulation path (6). If the temperature of the heat exchange medium (M3) circulating through the circulation path (7) is less than a predetermined temperature, the control device (9) supplies the heat exchange medium (M3) circulating through the circulation path (7) to each of the adsorption units (5A, 5B), and causes the adsorption units (5A, 5B) to adsorb the refrigerant (M1) at the same time, so that the heat exchange medium (M3) circulating through the circulation path (7) is heated by the adsorption heat of the adsorbent (S) with the refrigerant (M1) adsorbed.
