Abstract:
The present invention is an aerogel molded body (B) resulting from a plurality of aerogel particles (1) being bonded by an adhesive (2). The adhesive (2) is configured from: a layer-shaped adhesive (2a) covering the aerogel particles (1) in a layer shape; and a dotted adhesive (2b) that is adhered in a dotted manner to the aerogel particles (1). The layer-shaped adhesive (2a) is preferably a water-soluble adhesive (2). The dotted adhesive (2b) is preferably a powder adhesive (2). It is possible to obtain an insulating material having high strength and superior insulating properties.
