Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an agent for plant growth having a low environmental load and high safety. [Solution] By using cellulose nanofibers having a specific average fiber diameter and a specific average fiber length as a material for an agent for plant growth, the aggregation properties of cellulose are suppressed and an efficacious insecticidal effect can be achieved. Examples of the cellulose nanofibers include cellulose nanofibers derived from natural plant-containing celluloses such as wooden fibers, bamboo fibers, sugar cane fibers, seed hair fibers and leaf fibers.
