Abstract:
An aggregated calculation unit (23) of an aggregation unit (20) regularly collects at preset cycles, using a collection unit (21), packet data meter information in one or more dispersion units (101-10m) for performing transfer processing of packet data, and calculates a next-cycle setting rate at which packet data can be transferred per flow of each dispersion unit (101-10m) such that the sum per cycle of packet data meter information for each flow collected from each dispersion unit (101-10m) up to the current cycle reaches a value consistent with the rate setting information set in advance for each flow by a rate-setting unit (24), and sets the rate as a setting for the packet-data metering function of each dispersion unit (101-10m) using a setting unit (22). Thus, traffic relating to packet data from one or more dispersion units is aggregated to the same flow unit, allowing appropriate application of the metering function referenced in an RFC advisory.
