This air blowing device (50) is provided with a duct part (51) that forms a main flow passage (510) for airflow to pass and that has formed therein a flat-shaped main hole (512) from which an airflow serving as an operating airflow is blown out toward a portion downstream of the main flow passage. The duct part is provided with a constricted portion (515) at which the height of the main flow passage is reduced from the upstream side toward the downstream side of the airflow. The duct part also has disposed therein a plurality of partitioning members (52, 53) that divide the main flow passage in the longitudinal direction. The main flow passage is divided, by the plurality of partitioning members, into: a pair of side flow passages (510A, 510B) that are located on both sides in the longitudinal direction; and at least one center flow passage (510C) interposed between the pair of side flow passages. The plurality of partitioning members are arranged in the duct part in such a manner as to cause the width of the center flow passage to lessen from the upstream side toward the downstream side of the airflow.
