Abstract:
This air cleaning apparatus comprises: a case (60) that has a flow path formation part (63) forming an air flow path (110); a light source (72a, 73a, 74a, 72b, 73b, 74b) that emits light; and a photocatalyst (92) that is disposed in the case and generates a photocatalytic reaction with the light from the light source so as to purify the air in the air flow path. The case constitutes a heatsink that releases, into the air flow path, heat generated by the light source due to emission of the light.
