Abstract:
An air purification device for purifying air flowing through a ventilation passage (120) is provided with a light emission unit (300, 311, 321) and a filter (24, 25). The light emission unit emits light. The filter is arranged on either one of the upstream side or the downstream side of the main direction of air flow (AF) relative to the light emission unit in the ventilation passage, and receives light emitted from the light emission unit and makes air pass therethrough. The filter comprises: a photocatalyst (26) that is activated upon the reception of light emitted from the light emission unit to thereby purify air that pass through the filter; and a base material (27) on which the photocatalyst is placed. The base material is a net-like member.
