Abstract:
An air conditioner equipped with a single outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units to which refrigerant pipes through which refrigerant delivered from the outdoor unit flows are connected, the air conditioner comprising: an indoor heat exchanger that is connected via an expansion valve that controls the flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant pipes; a temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger; an indoor unit fan for taking air into the indoor units and blowing out the air heat-exchanged by the indoor heat exchanger; and a control unit that stops the indoor unit fan and closes the expansion valve in response to the stop of the operation of the indoor units, and rotates the indoor unit fan if the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature while the indoor unit is out of operation.
